Guwahati Municipal Corporation has warned citizens, sanitation service providers and cesspool vehicle operators against illegally dumping faecal sludge, septage and other harmful substances in Guwahati. The civic body said violators will face a spot fine of Rs 2,000 and urged safe, authorised disposal to protect public health, environmental safety and urban sanitation.
