Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute vice-chancellor Santosh Ajmera was allegedly manhandled and verbally abused by students in Kolkata on Thursday, hours after his office was vandalised on Wednesday night. The institute said stones were thrown, windows shattered and water and air-conditioning lines cut, leaving broken glass and damaged furniture.
