Los Angeles County Fire and U.S. Forest Service crews made significant progress Sunday night containing the 170-acre Bike fire in Santa Clarita, allowing residents to return home. The blaze, in the Los Angeles area, had prompted evacuations before containment improved and repopulation was permitted.
