Guwahati’s AIIMS has welcomed the Centre’s decision to cut prices of 137 non-scheduled anti-cancer medicines by up to 70% from November 9, 2026. The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority move aims to rationalise trade margins and ease treatment costs for cancer patients and their families in Guwahati.
