Guwahati citizens have asked the Assam government to direct the Guwahati Municipal Corporation to enforce stricter waste-management rules at Durga Puja and Kali Puja pandals. Their representation to the Chief Secretary calls for separate bins, timely garbage collection and scientific disposal to curb waste buildup during the festive season.
