In Guwahati, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma met dancer Himashree Boro’s bereaved family and said the state government would pursue the case to establish the facts behind her death in Andhra Pradesh. He said Assam was coordinating with Andhra Pradesh and the Union Railways Ministry and had written to both chief ministers and the railway minister.
