The UN food agency in Rome has named 35-year-old Mari ZT Lalrithangi from Sangau in Mizoram’s Lawngtlai district among its 100 Women Heroes in Agrifood Systems and Rural Livelihoods. The teacher-turned-strawberry farmer was recognised for turning a small fruit-growing experiment into a profitable livelihood.
