Garbage dumping near Lakshmipuram in Mudichur has narrowed Chennai's Tambaram-Mudichur Road, where the Mudichur and Mannivakkam panchayat limits meet. The 80-foot-wide road carries heavy traffic around the clock and passes through Krishna Nagar, Old Perungalathur, Mudichur and Mannivakkam before linking the Vandalur-Walajabad Road.
