Nagpur guardian minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule approved 190 million cubic metres of water from the Pench project for Nagpur until August 2027. He also proposed Rs900 crore for the Kanhan-Kolar barrage and Rs400 crore for a regional supply scheme using 35 MLD of Pench water.
