IIT Kanpur launched its ‘Greater Than Us’ campaign in Kanpur to raise $1 billion by March 2029 for research and innovation. Nearly half the target, Rs 4,155 crore, has already been pledged by alumni, donors, corporate partners and the government, making it the largest fundraising drive by an IIT.
