Property owners in layouts near south Bengaluru’s Kaggalipura are shocked that their plots in approved layouts, bought as recently as seven months ago, have been notified for acquisition for Peripheral Ring Road-2 (PRR-2). They alleged that Bangalore Development Authority’s compensation offer is barely 10% of the current land value of Rs 2,000 per sqft.
