Chennai airport has tightened power bank checks after a mid-air fire on an IndiGo flight from Delhi to Chennai prompted the Directorate General of Civil Aviation to ban the MOBIKINS MK-PB-04 model on all aircraft in India. The flight carried 180 passengers and landed in Hyderabad after an emergency diversion.
