Guwahati’s Kamrup Metropolitan district administration has ordered all agencies to stop road excavation and digging until October 21. The immediate ban, issued by the District Commissioner and DDMA chairman, aims to prevent accidents as large crowds gather for Durga Puja across main roads and bylanes.
