Chennai residents in Selaivayal, Kodungaiyur, have asked the Greater Chennai Corporation to remove sacked silt bags left unattended for more than a month on Vedantha Murugappa Street and Kattabomman Street in Ward 34. They said the delay has continued even after desilting work across Chennai, with the northeast monsoon expected soon.
