Ahmedabad railway division is building a Rs 307 crore maintenance hub at Sabarmati for Vande Bharat trains. The facility will handle major repairs, scheduled overhauling, coaches, wheels and key mechanical and electrical systems in one place, reducing the need to send trainsets to other locations.
