Guwahati’s Hatigaon police raided an alleged illegal gambling den at Shankar Path and arrested eight people. Officers seized playing cards, cash and mobile phones. Seven of those arrested were allegedly gambling at the spot, while one man, Udipta Kalita, was arrested for allegedly hosting the activity.
