A heritage activist has sought a forest department inquiry in Hyderabad over alleged tree felling and burning of vegetation at Naya Qila near Golconda Fort. The complaint says the work is linked to expansion of the Hyderabad Golf Association course and could affect the site’s ecology and heritage character.
