The Home Ministry will seek a response from the Punjab government after anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota was killed in Mansa and Gulzar Singh died by suicide in Dirba, Sangrur, after consuming poison. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also questioned the state’s law and order situation amid drug trafficking and gangsterism.
