Zoho Corporation has paused its annual pay hikes and cut marketing spending as rising AI infrastructure costs squeeze the company, founder Sridhar Vembu said on Tuesday. He said the software sector’s outlook remains uncertain and that Zoho has kept its headcount flat for the past 18 months while trying to avoid mass layoffs.
