Chennai’s Stephenson Road in Vyasarpadi remained inundated after floodwaters drained from most southern areas by Sunday morning. Residents of Vyasar Nagar Colony and daily commuters said the stretch has faced recurring waterlogging for over three decades and urged the Greater Chennai Corporation to fix it permanently and deploy more heavy-duty pumps before the next rains.
