Chennai’s Pocso Special Court has asked police to respond to anticipatory bail plea of Prakash, son of Southern Railway Mazdoor Union general secretary N Kannaiah, in the Veeramani case. Police allege he helped businessman Gem Veeramani sell Chennai properties worth several crores and received a substantial sum. A lookout circular was issued after he was found abroad.
