Police detained Ankita Bhandari’s parents near India Gate around 4 am on Thursday while they were protesting over the appointment of Dushyant Kumar Gautam as Sikkim Governor. The parents were later released around 5 am. Their protest came after Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra met them at the site.
