At a welcome event in Porur, Chennai, the BJP used a saffron-clad depiction of Tamil poet and philosopher Thiruvalluvar in its arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit. Modi arrived in Chennai from Delhi to take part in official programmes, including the Poonamallee-Vadapalani Metro Rail corridor inauguration.
