L Murugan resigned as Minister of State and asked to relinquish his Rajya Sabha seat on Tuesday, saying he wants to spend full time strengthening the BJP in Tamil Nadu. The former BJP Tamil Nadu chief was elected to the Upper House from Madhya Pradesh.
