Noida police placed nearly 300 people under preventive detention and stepped up checks at the Chilla border and UP Gate before a protest against the Cockroach Janata Party at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Additional personnel were posted at district borders adjoining Delhi, and several vehicles were turned back after questioning.
