Hyderabad is seeing an unusual spike in water tanker demand after a rainfall deficit. The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board is receiving around 6,500 tanker bookings a day in October, nearly twice its maximum of 3,500, as residents seek extra water supplies.
