India’s Ambassador to the US, Vinay Mohan Kwatra, criticised US Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal on Thursday for her remarks on the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. He called her comments on India’s electoral and political processes “unacceptable interference” in India’s internal affairs and said India is a vibrant democracy.
