Social activist M Lenin said Ramanathapuram police kept him under house arrest in Melakodumalur village from Saturday afternoon until Sunday evening because they feared he might disrupt the Prime Minister’s Chennai programme. Lenin, who coordinates the Justice for Akash Delison Murder Campaign Group, said he arrived on Friday night.
