Heavy rain with thunder and lightning across Chennai and its suburbs from Saturday night to Sunday morning disrupted more than 20 flights at Chennai airport. An IndiGo flight from Kolkata carrying 184 passengers was diverted to Hyderabad, while more than 10 incoming flights circled before landing.
