A stampede at the Chorbagan Sarbojonin Durgotsab Samity pandal in Kolkata on Saturday evening killed 19 people. The opposition Trinamool Congress blamed West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari and Kolkata Police, alleging poor crowd control, inadequate police deployment and missing emergency arrangements.
