New York held the 82nd Columbus Day Parade on Fifth Avenue on Monday, with Italian cultural pride filling the route. The annual event returned after last year’s march was canceled because of heavy storms. The Columbus Citizens Foundation organizes the parade to celebrate Italian and Italian-American heritage.
