Guwahati High Court has directed the Guwahati Municipal Corporation commissioner to inspect a temporary office in Chandmari after residents of Krishnanagar accused a Durga Puja committee of building it over a drain. The petitioners said the committee received permission for the office in front of Krishnanagar, Amiya Nagar, Rudra Nagar and Purbanchal Nagar.
