Rep. Delia Ramirez introduced the Reimagining Safety Act on Tuesday in the U.S. House. The Illinois Democrat’s bill would abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Protection, dismantle the Department of Homeland Security, and replace it with a new community-centered department.
