Delhi activist Abhijeet Dipke has accused Delhi Police of mistreatment while in custody, saying officers denied him access to his phone and lawyers after learning his grandmother had died. He also said he was told to contact his parents at an inappropriate hour about his arrest. Delhi Police said they offered assistance and informed him of the death.
