The Delhi High Court on Thursday refused to urgently hear a woman journalist’s request for interim protection from arrest in a case filed under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. The complaint was lodged by Delhi Police ACP Vivek Bhagat over alleged casteist remarks during a protest near Jantar Mantar earlier this month.
