The DMK decided in Chennai to petition President Droupadi Murmu seeking scrapping of the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls and a return to ballot papers. A resolution at the party's MPs' meeting, chaired by M K Stalin, alleged the exercise was rushed and had deleted voters.
