Aster CMI Hospital in Bengaluru carried out a paired kidney swap for a 15-year-old boy and a 21-year-old man after blood group incompatibility blocked direct donation from their families. Using Alliance for Paired Donation software, the hospital matched donors so each patient received a compatible kidney.
