A masked lapwing has taken over a nest of eggs at Windsor Park oval in Riverside, just outside Launceston in northern Tasmania, and continued to sit in the middle of the community sports ground while weekend cricket went on around it. Locals have nicknamed the bird “Faf Swoop Plessis.”
