Russia has rejected Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's proposal for a 60-day ceasefire to organise presidential elections. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov says Vladimir Putin is prepared to suspend Russian strikes on Ukraine for election day only, accusing Kyiv of seeking a longer pause to regroup and continue fighting. The dispute comes amid confusion over Donald Trump's separately announced energy ceasefire, which Moscow has yet to confirm. Zelensky has warned that Ukraine will respond if Russian attacks on its energy infrastructure continue. #putin #zelensky #russia #ukraine #trump #ceasefire #ukrainewar #peskov #russiaukrainewar #worldnewsTimes Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
