Intermarché and Cooperative U said an unprecedented cyberattack hit their French stores and caused refrigerators to defrost. The overnight hack targeted an estimated 150 to 200 Intermarché shops and almost 100 Cooperative U outlets, spoiling fresh and frozen food worth millions of euros.
