Around 300 people were detained on Sunday as they began to gather at Dadar’s Shivaji Park for Cockroach Janta Party’s protest over alleged electoral fraud for the second consecutive day. They were released after Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aaditya Thackeray, his brother Tejas and their cousin MNS’s Amit Thackeray intervened with an impromptu sit-in along with scores of supporters near Shiv Sena Bhavan in Dadar.
