Chennai’s Central Crime Branch arrested 60-year-old Leemaraj in Bengaluru after he allegedly stayed absconding for nearly 20 years. Police said he used fake documents to mortgage a woman’s 6,772 sq ft plot in Valasaravakkam and cheat a bank of Rs 37 lakh.
