Dozens of lawyers in Bengaluru on Tuesday demanded an apology from the Union government and a probe into police action against colleagues and students during anti-SIR protests over the past four days in Delhi and Bengaluru. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah ordered an inquiry into the Bengaluru incident.
