Anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhotta was killed in Mansa, Punjab, drawing sharp criticism from Rahul Gandhi. He attacked the Bhagwant Mann-led AAP government and said that raising a voice against drugs in the state had become life-threatening, citing violence, intimidation and death in Mansa and Sangrur.
