Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority has asked Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation to prepare a detailed project report for a six-lane bridge parallel to the British-era span over the Ulhas River between Shahad and Ambivli in Mumbai region. The plan aims to improve connectivity with Kalyan, Titwala and nearby villages.
