An Ahmedabad fabrication worker filed a complaint with Detection of Crime Branch police on Saturday, alleging that a man promising high returns enrolled his family in a monthly savings scheme and took ₹46.2 lakh. The family said the money was meant for a daughter’s brain surgery.
