Lucknow’s toll suspension on the Lucknow-Kanpur expressway will continue until a quality audit is completed. The 13 July inauguration had promised travel time between Lucknow and Kanpur would fall from about 90 minutes to 35-40 minutes. Complaints about damaged road surfaces and repairs surfaced within weeks of opening.
