Guwahati’s Matrix Cinema Hall in Beltola hosted the premiere of the Assamese film Rising Sun on Wednesday. Produced by Geet Film Makers, the film portrays persons with disabilities in Assam and the Northeast, including their struggles with social neglect, humiliation and discrimination, and their determination, skills and innovation.
