Arizona businessman Dennis Sirrine spent years building the Palo Verde & Southwestern Railroad in his backyard. Begun in 2004, the model railway stretches nearly 4,000 feet and includes hundreds of train cars, artificial mountains and lakes, making it one of America’s largest private garden railways.
