Kochi residents and local leaders have raised alarm over late-night speeding and alleged street racing on the airport road in Nedumbassery after Sunday’s crash killed three youngsters. They said luxury cars and high-performance motorcycles frequently race on the stretch, while poor surveillance and limited police patrolling allow the behaviour to continue.
